An update on Broad Lane 2.0...
We are flying ahead with building the two four bed semi-detached houses in Bramley and we're pleased to update you that they will soon be coming to the market at £339,000.
The structure is complete and the windows and doors are in, we're now moving forward with the interior.
The two properties are high spec and spacious with 4 full bedrooms (no box rooms!). They offer EV charging, bi-folding doors, high levels of insulation, solar panels, a 7 year NHBC warranty and the location is in close proximity to Kirkstall.

Broad Lane 2.0, the build is on!
Some of you may remember we had a previous building project in Bramley some years ago... we are back and now and well on our way with having the foundations laid for a Broad Lane Build 2,0.
We are building a pair of 3/4 bed semi-detached houses here which will be modern and spacious, with a great location.
The project has featured on Homes under the Hammer and also the hit TV show 'Rich House, Poor House' which our Director William recently starred in! If you missed this, check out the link below:

Our Bridlington Mansion taking shape!

We are thrilled to unveil our mansion build in Bridlington! This architectural marvel offers a blend of elegance, comfort, and modern sophistication.
We have been working on this superstructure for a while now and we are so pleased with how it is finally beginning to take shape.
High ceilings and stunning floor length glass windows are just a few of the exquisite details that elevate the aesthetics of this property. But it is also functional, energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
This has been a very special project and we are so excited to work on the interior! We can't wait to share the finished look with you soon!
Kings Coronation at Langton Hall

Wow! What a weekend we had at Langton Hall celebrating the King and Queen consort's Coronation!
The bunting was up along with lots of other decorations to mark the special occasion and ensure that all of our guests staying at Langton Hall got to enjoy this momentous occasion in style.
Monday was the focus of our parties with our amazing musician and singer Ross bringing his guitar and his amazing voice for a small picnic and concert by our charming waterfall.
The rain made an appearance but that didn't stop us as we moved the celebration in to the South Wing where everybody could enjoy a warm, dry space and the music.
We also had an amazing appearance of special cars arrive for the event including a number of Ferrari's and a Lamborghini!
We love to welcome guests to Langton Hall and really enjoy spending these special moments with guests, friends and family and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who marked this special occasion along with us here at the Hall!
Broad Lane planning approved!

The New year is off to a great start with our most recent purchase and now planning agreed with Leeds City council along Broad Lane, Bramley.
This is an area that CW Langton knows well as we have purchased a small plot of land adjacent to one of our former construction projects Globe Terrace, Broad Lane.
The site was purchased through auction and we quickly snapped this up by us. The new development will be in keeping to our traditional style of properties within Globe Terrace as we plan to build a pair of semi-detached houses with a very similar design to the other Globe terrace properties,
The site was a former car park which means CW Langton will be starting from the ground up which is always an exciting project when watching the progress from 0 to 100 right before your eyes.

Planning approved for Albert House
November 2022
Plans to build four residential properties to the rear of CW Langton's Victorian villa have been approved after a considerable amount of back and forth between ourselves and the local planning authorities.
CW Langton have experience dealing with local planning authorities as we are used to building developments in and around the Leeds area however this planning application was taken to a panel meeting due to complaints from local residents.
William Langton was invited to speak at the panel meeting to address complaints made by local residents and was given approval by the council in order to proceed with the plans.
CW Langton has plans to ensure a greener development style and have promised to avoid using gas on the site as an energy source, instead looking to install air source heat pumps.
The site will also be greener as it is an improvement on a previous application for nine homes on the same site, which was approved in 2011 but never came to fruition.

Land purchase and Planning underway!

CW Langton has successfully purchased land on Broad Lane in Headingley, Leeds.
This is familiar territory for CW Langton as we have formerly completed building of 6 Semi-Detached/ Detached houses on a separate very successful site on Broad lane several years ago.
The former site was ideal for families wanting traditional stone houses in keeping with the neighbourhood at reasonable prices and high quality and quickly got snapped up by buyers.
CW Langton hopes to continue it's success and provide further homes in a similar style at the new land recently purchased and now have applications with the Leeds planning team to ensure we make the most of the site!

Langton Hall new website Success and Gentleman Jack Series 2 on air!

Langton Hall's New website is a growing success with users and future guests now having the ability to book online directly and view our available dates seamlessly.
Whilst the new website is doing fantastic it has been the perfect time for Gentleman Jack Series 2 to air!
This popular Period drama is on air now through BBC and features Langton Hall and The South Wing which was formerly the temporary home of Anne Lister where the Norcliffe family resided.
The filming of Gentleman Jack was no small feat, the South Wing had a huge overhaul in some of the bedrooms and the large dining area where it was further renovated by the BBC team in order to ensure it looked exactly how it would have done in the 1830's.
Make sure to tune in to the series if you haven't done so already and tag us in your socials when you spot Langton Hall on screen!

Wedding Season at Langton Hall!

The easing of lockdown over this summer period has seen Langton Hall alongside our other popular Airbnb properties fill up with multiple wedding and ceremony related bookings.
Many of our guests have finally been able to tie the knot after waiting the long stretch of two or more years- multiple guests have unfortunately even had to postpone their original dates and re-organise their special days due to the lockdown and restrictions.
Whilst we are unable to conduct full wedding ceremonies at Langton Hall we are partnered with nearby Birdsall House and can provide our wedding bookings with accomodation for their guests as we are only a short 5 minute drive away.
Our Leeds mansion house is also ideal for couples who are looking to get married locally and is a fantastic base to either get ready at our hold a large family gathering on the days following to carry on the wedding celebrations!

If you are looking for a wonderful stay-cation this summer our Masham Airbnb properties are ideal for both a relaxing or jam packed time away!
Masham is ideal for a relaxing trip away boasting its amazing scenic views with the countryside right on your doorstep, and inviting local shops and cafes. The town also has a Farmers market just a stones throw away from our Airbnb properties on the Market square which supplies fresh local produce.
If you are looking for a more jam packed getaway there are several local breweries in the area such as the Black Sheep Brewery which even offers tours every Wednesday to Sunday! For the more creative of the bunch local art and craft classes are available to book prior to your visit!

Last week the final plot (Plot 6) was signed off with Building control.

Amid the recent extended lockdown the renovation and work at Langton Hall has been ongoing to ensure the cottages, hall and site are immaculate and ready for to welcome our guests back!
We have some recent additions throughout the Langton Hall site such as; the brand new Residents Bar, Snooker Room and gym which will be a welcome addition to the site upon full lockdown easing.
We have also ensured we have more capacity on site due to our rush of bookings and have now published 'The Lodge' on both our Langton Hall dedicated website and our Airbnb properties.
The Lodge is one of the most private properties on the estate and features a private hot tub, large BBQ and patio area overlooking the many acres of parkland and sleeps 7 which is ideal for a large well deserved family get together!

Langton Hall gets further planning permission!

Starting off the new year in style we have now got planning permission at Langton Hall to increase the guest experience and on site facilities!
Planning has been approved for an Indoor pool, a 5 bedroom barn conversion and access to the nearby farmyard.
This will be a welcome addition to the site which already boasts an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, indoor gym area and lovely row of cottages some with their own private hot tubs.

Our Willow House property is now fully built and fully ocupied!
Our professional tenants are loving the modern and open features of the building with every aspect being high quality!
The building is a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom properties on the ground floor and 2 bedroom duplex properties on the first and second levels.
The building is as impressive on the inside as it is on the outside and will soon feature a lovely communal garden space for tenants which is being completed as soon as the brighter weather returns!
Langton Hall to appear in second series of Gentleman Jack!
November, 2020
Filming began in Yorkshire this week with Suranne Jones set to reprise her role as 19th-century heiress Lister, who owned and ran the Shibden Hall estate, near Halifax.
Cast and crew were seen this week at Langton Hall, a Georgian country house near Malton that was once the family home of one of Lister's early lovers prior to her 'marriage' to Ann Walker - Isabella Norcliffe.
Parents doing the school run in the normally sleepy village of Langton were surprised to be met with traffic management lights and horse-drawn carriages blocking the highway.
Authentic gravel from the period had to be laid on the hall's drive, and special gates were fitted to the entrance in the formal late Victorian style.

With the expansion of the business growing larger and larger CW Langton has implemented a new communication system for all tenants and landlords.
The Arthur Online roll out has gone smoothly and allows tenants to report maintenance issues, access their online accounts via a mobile App and even allows them to update their personal details without requiring a phone call or email!
The system operates alongside our existing software and means that the level of service to our tenants and landlords is quicker and more efficient for all involved!

Langton Hall Cottages completely renovated and ready for AirBnB!

The former row of servant quarters in Langton Hall have now been fully renovated into immaculate individual holiday let cottages!
Each cottage has its own unique style sleeping between 2 and 8 people! The cottages each have their own private gardens (some including hot tubs!) and look out on to the beautiful on site parkland and all have access to a heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis court.
Langton Hall is associated with famous names, with the new cottages’ names reflecting those links; Mary Ellen Best, 18th Hussars and Isabella Cottages.
Many of the original features have been kept during the renovation and we have also put in features, which were lost when it was converted into a school, such as coving and ceiling roses.
